Further Investment at Customark Wiltshire

Out with the old and in with the new, as our CCM Premier 78 guillotine has been installed.

The £22,000 machine has been purchased to replace Wiltshire’s Goodhale 920 guillotine which had been running for over 20 years. The new machine will increase productivity and is part of our continued investment programme.

Customark Completes Major Investment

2016 has seen extensive growth for Midlands based manufacturer, Customark Limited, with over £465,000 of investment in space, equipment and staff.

Over an 18-month period local company, Customark have employed an additional 20 new staff and invested in extensive new manufacturing facilities expanding production diversity. As well as the head office based in Lye, West Midlands, the print specialists also operate from three other sites across the UK including Calne in Wiltshire, Cambridge and Oxford.

The investment has seen the Lye site benefit from three additional roll to roll digital printers as well as investment in a flat-bed digital printer, enabling the capability to print on to most materials, difficult shapes and intricate components. Further investments at Lye include three new labelling machines costing a total of £120,000. Calne benefitted in a move to a newly refurbished factory and the addition of 2 more precision laser cutting machines (£50,000), added to the existing laser capability.

Customark was originally founded as a label printing manufacturer, however today host a wealth of printing technologies, producing a vast range of products from industrial labeling to commercial point of sale. Customark offer a wide range of print services including Screen Printing, Pad Printing, Digital and Rotary Flexographic.

Customark Midlands Site Expansion Continues

New machines along with existing kit have now started to move into the new extension at Customark – Lye.

The new shop floor layout will be a great improvement and allow the flow of production jobs to improve. With the addition of the new Die Cutting machines it will also increase capacity.

The Next phase will be to move in the screen printing equipment into the all new custom made home. Whilst work commences on the stores area, further improvements to the building continues.
